This class with introduce students to the basics of botanical dyeing and how to treat fibers with soy milk for better natural dyeing results. Soy milk pre-treatments are a great way to become acquainted with botanical dyeing as the process is easily done at home, around kids and pets.
Objectives:
Introduce attendees to the basics of botanical dyeing
Acquaint attendees with how to create a soy milk pre-treatment for cellulose fibers
Walk attendees through an example dye process when using soy milk treatment cellulose fibers.
