Our goal is to enrich the Gettysburg area by enjoying community, fostering creativity, and advancing culture. It is our belief that the arts are best experienced as a community and we strive to provide a framework for creativity where artists, musicians, and creatives of all types can cultivate, practice, and showcase their work. Our space includes low cost studios, community arts resources, classroom space, an art gallery, concert venue, and a coffee/soda bar.

About Salsa on the Square

Sponsored by Project Gettysburg-León, Salsa on the Square observes the 38 years of Gettysburg's Sister City relationship with León, Nicaragua. Join the Fiesta to celebrate the vital role Latino people play in our community.

Enjoy dancing - the first block of Carlisle Street, from Lincoln Square to the railroad tracks will be closed for the fun to take place. The dance will feature the Latino music by an orquesta on stage. IN addition, DJ Solalinde will be on hand to play dance music between the sets and before the band begins.

Local food vendors will include Casa de la Cultura. The Gigantona, a large Nicaraguan folk doll, will again make her appearance. A sawdust carpet will be constructed by Nicaraguan artists.
