Class Details: This class will teach students how to dye with food waste and plants in a household setting. Students will learn about soy milk mordanting, as this can safely be done around children and pets. We will cover the basics of fabric preparation, scouring, mordanting, dye creation and dyeing. By the end of the class students should have a foundational knowledge of plant based dyeing. They will be provided a PDF tutorial and a list of resources after the class.
